We welcomed some very special guests to the Community Cafe yesterday! Father Christmas, with his donkeys and sheep visited for the afternoon at Hillington Square, and loads of you came to see them!
Children and their families from all over the area were invited to come along to the grotto, to meet Father Christmas and his friends. There were a range of craft activities and face painting on offer, with delicious food for everyone to enjoy.
Robert Clarke, Director of Housing at Freebridge said: “When Father Christmas came to the cafe last year, we really hoped that he’d be able to come along again this year – and we’re so glad he did! Being able to see everyone enjoying this fantastic afternoon in the heart of the community is really special, and we have seen lots of families making memories that they will carry long in to the future. A huge thank you to all those involved in organising the day, and of course Father Christmas himself!”
We hope you all had a fantastic time, and we hope you all have a very merry christmas and a happy new year!
