The Hillington Square Summer Fete made a popular return on Saturday 15 July.
Despite the rain, the fete – now in its fourth year, played host to food and fun for all the family, with music and games on offer throughout the afternoon.
Among the many exciting activities that were on offer were; a bouncy castle, face painting and the chance to train your eye to the heavens with an astronomy telescope.
Undeterred by the weather, the Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, Councillor Carol Bower, came along to support the fete and take part in some of the activities.
Freebridge Director of Housing, Robert Clarke, said: “The Hillington Square Fete is one of the highlights of the summer for Freebridge, and although the weather wasn’t at its best, it was great to see so many people getting involved in the fun, it shows the fantastic community spirit that we have here in King’s Lynn and west Norfolk.”
